Privacy

Effective 21 October 2026. webfaCeMEdia, Toronto, Ontario.

The Innerward app

Innerward collects nothing. It has no permission to use the network, so macOS refuses any connection it tries to make. Your documents, the questions you ask, the answers and the audit log stay on your Mac. webfaCeMEdia never receives them, and the app sends no analytics or usage data.

An Office licence lists your office name, email address and number of Macs. It is stored on your Mac and checked there.

Innerward Models, the downloader

Innerward Models is the separate part that downloads language models. It can use the network and cannot open your files. It downloads model files from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), whose servers see your IP address and which files were requested, as with any download. It sends nothing else.

Purchases

A subscription bought in the App Store is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Apple does not tell us who you are.

An Office licence bought on innerward.ca is paid through Stripe. We receive your name, email address, office name, the number of Macs and the amount, to issue and email the licence and for our records.

This website

• Analytics. innerward.ca counts pages viewed, buttons pressed and the site you came from, using webfaCeMEdia's analytics service. It sets no cookies; it uses your browser's storage to tell a new visit from a return one.
• Setup requests. What you type in the setup form is saved to webfaCeMEdia's customer records and emailed to us (through Amazon SES) so we can reply. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form for bots.
• Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve it.

We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email contact@webfacemedia.com. To remove Innerward and everything it stored, quit it, move it to the Trash, and delete its folders in your Library (the support page lists them).
